12/4 Process Post

Sculpture Project: Today I flushed out my final goals for the project. I plan to have two components, with one being constructed out of wire and the other using assembled wood carvings. They will form two halves of a tree, which will have a tire swing on the wooden side. I started out by carving the tree's trunk, and then moved on to starting carving the tire. However, whittling was an incredibly slow process, which I am kinda starting to regret utilizing for such a large portion of my project.
