What's going well. What has been challenging. What have you learned thus far?

- I think the grid line enlargement went well, as I think the shapes look good, and match the reference. However, charcoal has been somewhat challenging because of the disparity between the mediums of the reference and my version. The lighter tones are especially difficult, since the texture is a little different from what I can achieve using charcoal. However, I have figured out how to get sharp dark lines similar to those in Kathe's work, and I think this will be extensively useful throughout the process of this artist copy.
