Figure Drawing Blog Post

Since my work usually doesn't pertain to drawing figures, practicing figure drawing again this year was incredibly valuable as it allowed me to explore the subject, something I wouldn't usually deal with in my own work. I also think that the ideas of gesture, form, structure, etc. are really important to any type of art, regardless if it is figure drawing.

I thought I was able to really improve this time, especially with the lights and darks, although I think I could still get better at the gesture drawings and searching lines. Overall it was very useful and I am saddened that this will be my last figure drawing set of weeks in high school art.
