Process Post for Project #4

This project, my goals are to attempt lasercutting as a process of etching, and attempt replicas. I have decided that I will use my old crane drawing from last year, but etched using the lasercutting.

First, before doing any of that, to ensure the process even worked we attempted to etch a small thumbnail sketch for one of my earlier projects this year. It turned out okay, but it's possible that either the lasers are cutting too deep, or I'm not dampening my paper enough to truly pick up all of the ink. Either is possible, so in the future I hope to ensure my paper is properly damp before printing.
